Welcome to Trullo della Selva.
Home to Trullo Piccolo and Trullo Grande,
two beautiful holiday properties in Puglia, Italy.
The Brookes family project to restore these Trulli has taken several years, but we feel the journey has been well worth it. Along with all the hard work of local architects and builders, we have created two holiday destinations that we are very proud of.
If you have never been to the area before, a “trullo” is the name given to these traditional stone buildings found in the Italian region of Puglia. Their distinctive look is typified by the conical shaped roofs and thick stone walls.
Both Piccolo and Grande are located in the tranquil countryside of the Valle d’Itria, close to Martina Franca, Locorotondo and the world heritage site of Alberobello in the south of Italy.
The location offers both the ability to get away from it all, in a beautiful, peaceful location; but also within 15 minutes drive of three beautiful old hill towns with bars & restaurants all offering alfresco dining. The best of both worlds. The Adriatic & Ionian coastlines can also be reached in half an hour.
Piccolo
PICCOLO : BEAUTIFUL, HISTORIC ACCOMMODATION FOR COUPLES
Piccolo is the first house the Brookes family purchased when we fell in love with Puglia over a decade ago. Trullo Piccolo dates back several hundred years, and was originally used during the wine harvest of the surrounding vineyard, to store and crush grapes. Today it has been completely renovated, retaining all the original features while accommodating modern design and layout.
Perfect for couples and honeymooners, with its own private grounds, patios, pool and BBQ.
And the views are simply amazing !
Grande
GRANDE : PERFECT FOR FAMILIES OR COUPLES TO SHARE
Within one hundred yards of Piccolo, the family have bought a second Trullo, Trullo Grande. Originally a small farmhouse, the Trullo dates back several hundred years. Trullo Grande has recently been totally restored with the same love and attention by the team who renovated Piccolo.
Perfect for family getaways, or friends to share, with its own private grounds, patios, pool and BBQ.
